Our partners

We have to be picky about the companies we work with. After all, that’s the only way we can be sure you keep receiving the great service you’ve come to expect from us.

Our partnership with the National Land Information Service (NLIS) means we have licensed, direct electronic access to local authorities. So not only do you get all your searches in one place. You also benefit from the fastest turn around times.

Thames Water Property Searches holds ISO 9001:2008 Certification for Quality Management. This demonstrates our commitment to constantly reviewing and improving our business. It also provides both assurance and high levels of service for our customers and stakeholders.

As an executive member of the Council of Property Search Organisations (CoPSO), the national trade body, we are subject to robust compliance checks. It also provides the reassurance to our customers that we have adequate insurance in place to protect them (and other associated third parties). We also subscribe to CoPSO’s Search Code. This is focused on delivery of quality information in our search reports, along with even more protection for our customers.

The Property Codes Compliance Board (PCCB) is an independent body that monitors compliance through the Search Code. Our PCCB registration demonstrates Thames Water Property Searches’ commitment to industry standards, best practice and consumer protection.

Our quick turnaround times are helped by our OSCRE interface. This automates the transfer of data between software applications used across the property market, enabling a seamless flow of information between ourselves, our customers and our suppliers.

Our clever mapping tool comes through our affiliation with Ordnance Survey MasterMap®. Always right up to date, this database records every fixed feature of Great Britain that is larger than a few metres. It does it on a continuous digital map, and makes your searches easier by giving every feature a unique identifier Topographical Identifier (TOID).
