Changes to the CON29R
In order for us to implement the changes to the CON29R our website will be temporarily unavailable from 6:00pm on Friday 1 July until 6:00pm on Saturday 2 July. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
We have also been informed that due to the upcoming CON29 changes scheduled for the 4 July, a number of Local Authorities will be closing their systems in preparation. Detail of these closures will be displayed on our website when ordering your relevant local authority search requests on your account and will be updated accordingly.
Any searches submitted after the date specified will be rejected and will need to be resubmitted after the 4 July.
The Law Society’s changes to the CON29 forms have been implemented to improve the quality and consistency of information provided by Local Authorities. New enquiries have also been added to the forms – these changes to questions will be implemented for both local authority searches and personal (regulated) searches.
The implementation of VAT on CON29 products, which was also scheduled for 4 July has been deferred. We will update you as soon as we receive further information.
