Disclosure of your information
Subject to the retention period referred to in 'Using the information we collect', we may disclose your personal data to any member of our group, which means our subsidiaries, our ultimate holding company and its subsidiaries, as defined in section 1159 of the UK Companies Act 2006, where necessary to respond to any further contact relating to the products or services that you have requested from us.
Should you and/or your agent submit a property search on the website and such submission is an order for a report produced by one of our suppliers, we will disclose the address of the property against which you search to the relevant third party supplier(s).
In addition to the above and subject to the retention period, we may disclose your personal data to third parties in the following circumstamces:
- In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
- If Thames Water Limited, Thames Water Utilities Limited, or Property Searches, are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
- If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce or apply our Terms of Use or Terms and Conditions; or in order to protect the rights, property or safety of Thames Water Limited, Thames Water Utilities Limited, Property Searches, our suppliers, customers or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
- If we use a third party to host the servers on which your personal information is stored.
- In any other manner mentioned elsewhere in this policy.
